About Us

Statewide Home Health Care (SHHC) is a family-owned business originating from a small section of Rodney Cohen’s St Kilda Pharmacy in 1992. St Kilda Home Health Care was based just around the corner to his pharmacy in Barkly Street, St Kilda in Melbourne.

In 1995, Rodney’s son Tim took over the business, with Rodney continuing his involvement by overseeing operations.

In 2000, Tim renamed the store and moved it to Brighton East. In January 2022, Statewide relocated just up the road to a new bigger modern showroom at 909 Nepean Hwy Bentleigh.  On display is a wide range of Independent Living and Rehabilitation products.

In conjunction with the Davis family in 2010, Peninsula Home Health Care was opened in Seaford to service the Mornington Peninsula.

All our products have been carefully sourced and are designed to assist patients to maintain a healthy, safe and happy lifestyle in a caring environment.

Our staff attend to all enquiries in a courteous, attentive, patient and informed manner.

We strive to recommend the most suitable equipment whatever your requirements, and if necessary will refer you to Health professionals where applicable.

Our business expertise extends to hire, equipment trials, mobile repair service and rail installation services. We offer a professionally managed Asset Management Program combining administration, storage, reissue, preventative maintenance, and web-based tools for the cataloguing of medical equipment.

We offer complimentary delivery to hospitals that are a party to our service agreements. For a minimal charge we offer same day delivery service throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan Area and the Mornington Peninsula.
