Nylon, single-layer, slide sheets are used to reposition a person in bed. They are designed to be used with two sheets together or in conjunction with the Easy Slide Flat Slide Sheets with Handles. The nylon is coated in silicon to help the sheets slide.
Use two sheets together, one on top of the other, sliding surface inward. Carers slide the top sheet in any direction. Or fold one sheet over to slide someone across a bed. With the carer's hands on the patient's hips and shoulders gently push them away from the folded side toward the open side. Usually, another carer on the open side will pull the top layer toward themselves to assist. Remove the sheet after transfer and pulls the bottom layer towards the carer.
